This year's Spring Summer fashion trend is floral, feminite. Think seventies hippies, boho prints and flowing fabrics. With the flowers now riotously blooming in my garden, I thought I would round up some of my favorite recent floral pieces.
This Cherry Blossom necklace is by Cornelia Wearable Art, and is inspired by the latest Asian fusion fashion collection by Emirates design brand Queen of Spades.

Morgan Prather has some great rhodium pieces with stylized flowers and foliage designs, like this orchid lariat necklace. Visit her store on Etsy to see her full range.

I love both the design and fabrication technique of this cuff bracelet, with a pierced silver design and a thick ribbon woven through. By Howlindoggie on Etsy. http://www.etsy.com/shop/howlindoggie?ref=seller_info

Faberge have also been inspired by nature recently, and my favorite piece in their latest collection is a stunning bejewelled hibiscus flower bracelet. I when I say bejewelled I mean it: over 2,300 rubies and diamonds! See it for yourself at http://faberge.com/
Another designer giant, Oscar De La Renta also has some delicate floral jewelry, like these lovely silver and pearl earrings. (Available at http://www.net-a-porter.com)
Last but not least, is the pretty silver collection by Dian Malouf. I love the floral rings and bangles in this collection. http://www.dian-malouf.com/jewelry.html
I tend to find myself using lighter, brighter colors in my Spring jewelry designs, often with a wider range of shades that at other times of the year. Do the seasons inspire your designs?
