Display makes a big difference in how effective your craft shows and markets will be.  One of the most important things you can do is to stand out, but in a stylish, fashionable way.  Creating your own packaging can help you develop a unique brand and draw attention to your jewelry in a positive way. 

One of the easiest things you can make is earring cards.  You can fully customize them, and even the  most basic card is going to look a million times better than those little plastic things you buy at jewelry supply stores.

Easiest Method
You probably already have business cards.  If you don’t, what are you waiting for?  You can make a super easy earring card by folding over one long end of your business card and poking two holes in it to hold earrings.  They can rest on the table or hang on a rack and they will help get your earrings up and noticed.

Design Your Own
You can make your own earring cards to your exact specifications, even if you do not have special design software.  I have experimented and decided that a business card cut in half lengthwise makes the perfect size for hanging earrings.  You can draw, stamp or otherwise design a card and scan it into your computer to print, or design one on the computer and print it out.

Once they are printed and cut, the easiest way to get a hole that works is to poke the tip of a screw through the paper.  The hole is small enough that small diameter earrings fit snugly, allowing them to stay more securely.

Experiment with using recycled materials, business cards and other items to create your own unique look and brand.  You might be surprised how effective that professional appearance can be at generating sales.
